What to do if you can't find your equine via the UELN or passport number when you try to add it to your Digital Stable.

If you have attempted to add an equine to your Digital Stable using either its passport number and/or UELN and a result cannot be found this would indicate that your equine's record may not be on the Central Equine Database (CED).

You will need to contact the Passport Issuing Organisation (PIO) that issued your equine's passport to ask them to check their records and/or add your equine to the CED.

If an equine's passport was issued outside of the UK, it is the responsibility of the owner at the time of importing the equine to register the equine with a UK PIO.

If you are not sure who your PIO is and don't have the passport but you do have the UELN, you can use the guide below to identify your PIO by using the first 6 digits of the UELN.
