What to do if my equine species is incorrect on the National ChipChecker?

If you find that the "Species" is recorded wrongly on the National ChipChecker, contact the passport issuing organisation (PIO) which issued you equine's passport and notify them.

They will guide you through the process to rectify this, update their records and also update the Central Equine Database (CED)

Revisit the National ChipChecker 24 hours after you have notified the PIO to check that the CED has been updated. If it hasn’t, contact your PIO again
