Equine Register takes the protection of your personal details very seriously, and because of this we have to be absolutely sure that you are who you say you are.

To verify your identity, we have to verify your name and current postal address. We do this using a number of methods, for which we need you to upload a valid identity document (e.g. a passport, driving licence or identity card) which we match with a photo taken of you when you register.

We also need you to enter your current postal address and we verify this by sending a unique verification code to this address. You will need the verification code to be able to claim equines on the Central Equine Database.
