Why Digital Stable may not be able to find your equine and what to do next

Digital Stable looks for your equine on the Central Equine Database (CED) by using the name and address that you have already verified in Digital Stable. We will try to match your details with equine records on the CED

If your equine is not registered on the CED with the name and address that you have already verified, Digital Stable will not be able to find your equine

This may have happened for a number of reasons:

1. You may have changed your name (e.g. by getting married)

2. You may have moved address

3. You may have made a change to your details but not informed your passport issuing organisation (PIO). Your PIO is responsible for updating the CED, so if they don't know about your changes, they won't have updated the CED.

4. You may have bought an equine but not notified the PIO of your purchase

If you have the equine's passport you will be able to claim the equine by entering the equine's details exactly as they are entered in the passport

If you are unable to do this you will need to contact your PIO directly to update your details with them.
